Lots of interesting stuff going on. Tax and Land Bank property auction
this morning at 10 a.m. in the Mason Courthouse.

Lansing City Pulse gave us good coverage in their August 18th edition as
we close in on our 5th anniversary. If you can't pick up a hard copy
for free go to their web site at www.lansingcitypulse.com

The Lansing-E.Lansing area received encouraging 2nd Q news from the
Realtor Association. The median price of existingsingle-family homes
increased by 13.4%. Link to the story:

In late July, Kiplinger tagged Lansing as a great city for young adults.
This put us on a list with Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Chicago; Houston;
Kansas City, MO; New York; Portland, OR; Salt Lake City and Washington,
DC. http://ow.ly/2ihXF

The last two weeks have brought full price offers on renovated homes
...with a 6% allowance for closing cost and other items. And we are
close to commercial closings on S. Washington with Alan Hooper and
Clark Street with Kincaid Henry Group.

The attendance at the former DeLuxe Inn at S. Washington and I496
for a graffiti art project started August with a bang. We hosted
about 50 artist and 1,500 visitors that arrived on foot, bike, roller
blades and by car. A larger number of visitors have been by since the
painting weekend. Query graffiti art and Lansing to see the pictures
posted by the Lansing State Journal and others.
